No, no es que nos hayamos confundido a la hora de hacerlos: Este mes queremos unirnos a una causa muy especial y ayudar a concienciar sobre y prevenir el c\u00e1ncer de mama.<\/strong><\/p><p>Es cierto que todas las enfermedades son importantes, pero esta tiene un componente espec\u00edfico que hace esencial su visibilizaci\u00f3n: Seg\u00fan el Sistema Europeo de Informaci\u00f3n del C\u00e1ncer (ECIS), el c\u00e1ncer de mama es <b>el tipo de c\u00e1ncer m\u00e1s frecuente en mujeres<\/b>, y la primera causa de mortalidad por c\u00e1ncer en mujeres. Eso significa que, seg\u00fan datos de la OMS, una de cada doce mujeres enfermar\u00e1 de c\u00e1ncer a lo largo de su vida. Afortunadamente un diagn\u00f3stico precoz aumenta las posibilidades de curaci\u00f3n. En esta enfermedad, la detecci\u00f3n precoz es un factor crucial.<\/li><li>Contribuir a la <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.contraelcancer.es\/proyectos-investigacion-cancer-mama\/\">investigaci\u00f3n en c\u00e1ncer de mama<\/a>. Aunque en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se ha avanzado mucho, todav\u00eda quedan inc\u00f3gnitas por desvelar, por ejemplo, por qu\u00e9 un 30% de pacientes en estadios I, II y III acaba desarrollando met\u00e1stasis con el tiempo, y tambi\u00e9n avanzar en el desarrollo de tratamientos m\u00e1s eficaces.<\/li><\/ul><p>Por eso, este mes queremos hacer algo m\u00e1s que expresar nuestro apoyo con palabras. Este mes, <b>donaremos un 5% de todas nuestras ventas de maniqu\u00edes <\/b>a la <a href=\"https:\/\/colabora.contraelcancer.es\/campanas\/mama-2022#K17\">Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola Contra el C\u00e1ncer de Mama<\/a>, para contribuir a la investigaci\u00f3n de esta enfermedad.<\/p><p>Esta acci\u00f3n no es solo por las mujeres, es por todas las personas.
